The final of 2019 (3rd) SIP Social Sports Instructors’ Skill Competition was held on Nov 30. A total of 412 local social sports instructors (SSIs) competed in the team and individual contests on taiji (traditional Chinese shadowboxing), open-air fitness dancing, fitness qigong (traditional Chinese breathing exercise) and softball exercise, and 12 teams and 12 individuals emerged as winners.

It is reported that SIP now has over 3,000 SSIs who frequently serve in various events to help enhance the public’s awareness of physical health and teach them exercise skills. A competition of the kind is held each year to offer the local SSIs a chance to showcase their skills in physical exercises and enhance their interaction with each other.
