SIP hosted a job fair on Oct 11 at Nanjing Institute of Technology (NJIT), an engineering-focused school in Nanjing, capital of East China’s Jiangsu province. The event is the third leg of SIP’s eight-day talent recruitment tour across the province.　A total of 77 SIP-based enterprises offered about 360 job vacancies to the school’s students. 

 

The recruiters said what they took into account in the interviews is not only the applicants’ professional skills but also their personal qualities.

“We value students with strong perseverance and positive attitudes, and consider the new hires’ personalities and interests when making arrangement for the entry-level rotation training,” said the HR manager from a cutting tools company.

 

 

The recruiter from an automation equipment company holds similar views, saying, “We need electrical engineers and software and machinery professionals who can be prudent and focused on their work and good at communication and logical thinking.”
