Social organization’s wind music popularization program to benefit schools

Ten SIP-based primary and middle schools announced on June 10 at the ceremony held in SIP Xingwan School to join the wind music popularization program run by the School Culture Research Committee (SCRC) at Chinese Society for Tao Xingzhi Studies, a non-profit organization under the country’s Ministry of Education. Under the program, they will receive from SCRC not only free wind instruments but also training for their wind bands and music teachers, and will have opportunities to take part in performances organized by SCRC.  

The schools include SIP Xingwan School, Dushu Lake School, Jingcheng School, Xingcheng School, Xingpu School, Wencui Primary School, Chefang Experimental Primary School, Shengpu Experimental Primary School, Xinrong School and Suzhou Junior Middle School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University.

It is learnt that SCRC launched the program in May 2016, planning to roll it out to 100 schools across the country.
