Wu Qingwen, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Committee and secretary of SIP Party Working Committee, conducted a one-day tour around Suzhou International Science Park (SISPARK), Suzhou Wind Rose Smart Technology Co Ltd and Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) on June 1 for a survey on innovation and entrepreneurship.

At SISPARK, Wu and his contingent visited several tech companies, learning about their operations and encouraging them to expand their business. They also visited China (Suzhou) Intellectual Property Protection Center, a project under construction at SISPARK, promising to enhance support for it.

At Suzhou Wind Rose Smart Technology Co Ltd, the officials gained a better understanding of the company’s efforts in developing auto-driving technologies and tried a self-driving vehicle. Wu urged related departments to lend the company a hand in widening the application of their products.

At XJTLU, after listening to the school head’s report, Wu gave high praise to the school’s educational concepts and talent cultivation plans, and promised to offer more support for its future development.
