The about-7,000-square-meter Rule by Law Square in Xingtao Community in SIP’s Xietang Sub-district opened to the public on Nov 18, offering the local residents a good place to enjoy leisure and gain legal knowledge.

 

There is a signboard bearing the name of the square at the west entrance. Near it is a short corridor with three display boards on each side to impart knowledge on laws and fire prevention. Besides, 16 light boxes standing across the square offer comics and aphorisms on laws and cautions against gang crime, heresies, drug abuse, swindles and other illegal behaviors, while a number of sculptures remind the viewers of the core socialist values embraced by the country.
