The landscaping project launched at Jinji Lake Scenic Area (JLSA) in March is expected to complete in late May, according to SIP Comprehensive Urban Management and Law Enforcement Office. The outcomes so far have received high comments from the local residents.

Four flower belts have been completed. From Linglong street to Fengming street, a 900m-long zone with about 80,000 pots of flowers and 90 trees have become an eye-catcher in the area.

The hydrangea and peony gardens at Hubin Avenue will open to the public soon, and a 15,000-sqm lawn has taken shape at Nongli Square.

"The diversity of the plants and their adaptability to the local conditions have been taken into account to provide the citizens and tourists with different visual experiences at different times and places," an official close to the project said.
