SIP Administrative Committee deputy director Zhu Jiang visited SIP One-stop Service Center and SIP Social Insurance and Housing Fund Management Center on Feb 4 for an inspection over the organizations’ preventive measures against the recent nationwide outbreak of pneumonia caused by the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).
The two organizations, each providing a wide range of administrative services closely related to local businesses’ operations and local residents’ welfare, are among the most-visited places within SIP’s administration system, and therefore are more likely to be hit by the epidemic.
Wearing mask, Zhu and his contingent had their temperature taken at each of the organizations before starting their inspection. They learnt that the organizations have taken a series of measures to prevent the virus, including tracing their staff’s health conditions, frequently sterilizing the workplaces and adopting online services to reduce face-to-face contacts, etc. He urged the organizations to keep strict precautions to ensure the safety of all the staff and visitors.
