Wu Qingwen attends the 2nd CIIE

Wu Qingwen, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Committee and secretary of SIP Party Working Committee, had a busy day on Nov 6 at the 2nd China International Import Expo (CIIE) that kicked off in Shanghai the day before.
 
The official started the day with an introduction to SIP at the 2nd Hongqiao International Health Technology Innovation Forum. He laid emphasis on SIP’s biomedicine ecosystem and invited domestic and overseas companies to invest in it.
 
Following that, Wu and his contingent had a tour around the booths of the SIP-based subsidiaries of Japanese glass manufacturer AGC and electronics giant Panasonic, South Korean multinational conglomerate Samsung, American multinational Johnson & Johnson and biotechnology products company Thermo Fisher Scientific and other exhibitors from SIP. At each of the booths, they gained a better understanding of the exhibits and even tried several of the latest inventions.
 
 
 
 
 
After that, Wu attended Swiss healthcare company Roche Diagnostics’ unveiling of its integrated solution for tumor treatment, American pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly and Company’s inauguration ceremony for its new insulin production line in Suzhou, and Jiangsu International Consultative Conference on Open and Innovative Development.
