SIP Administrative Committee director Ding Lixin met with Paul SL Peng, chairman and CEO of Taiwan-based electronics manufacturer AU Optronics (AUO), and his contingent on Nov 4. 

 

During their meeting, Ding gave the guests a specific introduction to SIP’s development, laying emphasis on its business environment, talent policies and the new free trade zone established in the area in September. Ding encouraged the company to expand its development in SIP, and promised to offer it more support in the future.

 

Mr. Peng expressed thanks to SIP authorities for their consistent support to the company since it set up its branch AU Optronics (Suzhou) Corporation in the area in 2001, and introduced to Ding and other local officials four companies founded in SIP in 2017 by AUO’s affiliates with assistance from AUO. He said the company will continuously improve its products and services to give SIP a leg up in seeking stronger economic growth.
