Wu Qingwen, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Committee and secretary of SIP Party Working Committee, met on Nov 4 with Anna Ryzhova, Chief Human Resources Officer at Oerlikon, a Switzerland-headquartered technology and engineering group, and her contingent.

Oerlikon is a world market leader that engineers materials, equipment and surfaces and provides expert services to enable customers to have high-performance products and systems with extended lifespans. It founded Oerlikon (Suzhou) in SIP in 2003 as the biggest and only comprehensive Oerlikon factory worldwide, and inaugurated Oerlikon DTY R&D Center in the area last October to develop globally cutting-edge DTY (Drawn Textured Yarn) machines.

In the event, Wu expressed thanks to Oerlikon for its contributions to SIP’s economic development, and gave Anna and her fellows a detailed account of SIP’s business environment and services, inviting Oerlikon to expand its footprint in SIP. The CHRO expressed appreciation to SIP authorities for their support to the company, saying Oerlikon attaches great importance to its projects in SIP and hopes to have more chances for win-win cooperation between the two parties.
