Zhang Jixin, a renowned Chinese artist, and several of his peers on Aug 16 presented a 2.6-meter-long and 1.3-meter-wide picture they drew together to SIP Archives Management Center (SIPAMC). The work, featuring 25 kinds of flowers around Jinji Lake, was specially created to mark SIP’s 25th anniversary and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. It will become a permanent collection at SIPAMC.

It is learnt that all the painters live in SIP. Their works were displayed at a painting, calligraphy and photography exhibition organized by the United Front Work Department of CPC SIP Working Committee at Suzhou Dushu Lake Library from July 13 to Aug 12, and received high comments. The huge picture depicts their love for SIP.
