A set of artificial knee implants caught the attention of many visitors. They are from Suzhou Zhongke Medical Materials Co Ltd, a company with 50 domestic and 15 international patents on artificial human joint replacement products.

"With the artificial implants, people suffering incurable knee diseases can regain walking abilities," one of the company's staff said.

It is revealed that the products are made of PEEK (polyetheretherketone) materials, which can help improve patient comfort, provide a more stable fixation over time, extend the device life and save cost in comparison with similar products made of metal alloy and other materials.
