70 teams compete in Dragon Boat Race


The 2017 China Telecom E-surfing 4G Cup Jinji Lake Dragon Boat Race themed "Happy Time in Jiangsu" kicked off at the Moonlight Dock on May 30, the day of the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival (it is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month in Chines lunar calendar). A total of 70 teams competed fiercely in the preliminaries and finals, showcasing unique and time-honored Chinese folk culture.

The Suzhou International Education Park team emerged as the winner in the 12-men 300-meter straightaway racing, while Ca' Foscari University of Venice won the 12-women 300-meter straightaway racing, and SIP Institute of Services Outsourcing won the 22-people 300-meter straightaway racing.

In addition to the gold, silver and bronze medals, other awards were also presented, including Outstanding Organization, Best Team Work and Best Efforts.
