Themed "Happy Time in Jiangsu", the 2017 Jinji Lake Dragon Boat Race attracted a total of 1,320 participants, including 214 expatriates, an increase of 16% compared with that of last year. The expatriates were from 22 countries and regions, including Australia, the UK, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Belgium, Iceland, Germany, Colombia, India, Sudan, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Zambia, Ghana, Congo, Mauritius, Canada, Norway and the Netherlands.
