Top Eight Tourist Attractions in SIP


  

Harmony Sky Screen
The 500m-long, 32m-wide, and 21m-tall Sky Screen is the longest in the world and its LED ceiling displays different themes to create dreamlike scenarios.   

Ferris Wheel
Standing 120 meters tall above the water, it is the biggest of its kind in Asia and famed as "the Eye of Jinji Lake". The night view is especially spectacular with carefully-designed visual effect.


With 60 luxuriously decorated carriages and 360 seats, the entertainment facility offers a bird’s-eye view of the areas around Jinji Lake and the gigantic LED screen displays different themes according to pre-arranged schedule, which makes it the center of the skyline. 

Music Fountain
The water screen show and music fountain located on west bank of the lake is the biggest comprehensive waterscape in East China. The fountain area covers 130 meters from east to west, 208 from north to south, and theme fountains can reach 108 meters high in the air. The facility combines water screen, laser projection, firework, music, and lighting, creating the most beautiful scene at night.   


Ligongdi
2,200-meter long and century-old Ligongdi Dike has traditional houses with whitewashed walls and black tiles, red peach blossoms and green willows, crystal clear water and refreshing breeze. The night view is also beautiful with colorful neon outlines of buildings and their reflections in the water.  

Peach Blossom Isle
Covering 10 hectares, the Island offers the best scene in spring when peach blossoms bloom. You can have a bird's-eye view of the lake on top of Ziyin Pavilion and other entertainment facilities include Water Park, pleasure boat, speedboat, water riding, and water bicycle. Linglong Isle across the water is the home to hundreds of wetland and water plants and a paradise for birds.

    
Hubin Avenue
Hubin Avenue is 2 kilometers long and features a camphor forest and a waterfront corridor, showing the modern side of SIP along with classical gardens in other places. The landmark sculpture of "Harmony" here represents the harmonious coexistence of tradition and modernity, science and humanity. 


Culture Corridor
The Culture Corridor located on east bank of the lake extends from Suzhou Culture and Arts Center in north to Jinjidun in south, covering 3.38km shorelines and 33 hectares. It is the biggest scenic spot around the lake, connecting Maple Grove, Moon bay, and Ferris Wheel Park.


Jinji Lake Bridge
The Bridge is 2.154km long and 57.2km wide, spanning east and west banks of Jinji Lake. The 8km-wide slow lane close to the lake is designed especially for sightseers, and driving along the lane, one can enjoy the panoramic view of the entire lake, which makes the bridge one of the must-go places for tourists.
