SIP offered a feast of art during the Qingming Festival holiday which lasted from April 4 to 6.
The visitors to the Archaeological Site Park of Caoxieshan had the chance to experience what ancients liked to do in spring and thereby gain a better understanding of folk customs related to spring.
The Contemporary Women Art Exhibition themed “The Eyes of Wisdom” is underway at Suzhou Jinji Lake Art Museum. On display are over 40 works such as paintings, sculptures, installations and images created by 29 female artists born between the 1960s and 1990s.
Other art exhibitions are going on at Jinji Lake Art Museum and other galleries and museums.
Art performances were thriving, too. The Life, an immersive, interactive play, attracted many people. The Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre Performing Culture Cluster offered 43 performances for different groups.
