The Jinji Lake Scenic Area and Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort in SIP received 1.01 million tourists during the Chinese Qingming Festival holiday from Apr 4 to 6, with a year-on-year increase of 138%.
Eight operators of cultural and business tourism projects around Jinji Lake reported operating incomes totaling RMB86.67 million, up 48% YoY, and the figure of nine hotels around Jinji and Yangcheng lakes was RMB 8.54million, up 90% YoY.
Among the most popular destinations were the Peach Blossom Island in Jinji Lake, the Archaeological Site Park of Caoxieshan and the HB World, a film-themed entertainment complex.
The Jinji Lake Music Fountain staged audio-visual shows every night, and a variety of art exhibitions at different museums and galleries offered the visitors opportunities to savor the charm of different forms of art.
