The 13th Suzhou Jinji Lake Half Marathon is set to kick off at the square of Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre in SIP on Mar 10, according to the news briefing on Feb 28.
Suzhou Jinji Lake Half Marathon, dubbed a “Gold Label Road Race” by Chinese Athletic Association, is held annually in Suzhou since 2010, and has become one of the most anticipated sports events in the Yangtze River Delta region.
This year’s event will consist of the half marathon and the “runs for health and fun”. Half of the 30,000 participating runners will compete in the half marathon.
The sportswear for runners and the medals for winners were unveiled at the news briefing.
