Statistics show that, during the New Year holiday from Dec 30, 2023 to Jan 1, 2024, the scenic spots and resorts in SIP recorded 870,000 tourist arrivals, up 240% year-on-year. The operating incomes of nine hotels located around Jinji Lake and Yangcheng Lake reached RMB10.48 million, up 145% YoY.
On the last day of 2023, SIP was full of festive air. Fireworks, music, bazaars, exhibitions and performances composed wonderful New Year celebrations.
HB World, a film-themed entertainment complex, hosted its sixth New Year celebration which comprised spectacular fireworks, band performances and entertainment projects.
The bazaar, insect exhibition, concert and parent-child games under the Sky Screen at Harmony Times Square attracted many people.
The Jinji Lake Music Fountain staged fantastic audio-visual shows every night, and concerts of popular music, symphony and jazz were put on at different places.
The exhibitions of artistic installations, traditional Chinese handwriting and other forms of art also contributed to the large flow of visitors to SIP during the holiday.
