A movie-themed concert, part of the first Suzhou Jinji Lake China-France Culture and Art Week that kicked off in SIP on Oct 28, was staged in SIP’s Ligongdi Cultural and Creative Block on Nov 3, offering the audience a good chance to savor the charm of French music.
At the event, GO EVENTS X Luminous Orchestra, a Chinese orchestra, performed a list of well-known French songs including “Sous le ciel de Paris” and themes from such French movies as Amelie from Montmartre and Léon: The Professional.
As the music was played, clips of the movie was shown on the screen, joining the candlelight, flowers and French wines to give the audience an immersive experience as if they were in France.
