Jiang Zhusong’s Painting Exhibition, themed “The Journey of My Art”, opened at Suzhou Industrial Park Urban Art Space on June 5, and will last till July 3. On display are 38 painting works by Jiang Zhusong, a professor at the School of Art of Soochow University.
Jiang, born in 1962 in Nantong, East China’s Jiangsu province, is well-known for his remarkable attainments in watercolor, gouache, oil and acrylic paintings as well as in installation, sculpture, public art and design.
The works on display include sketches that Jiang drew in the 1980s and gouaches he created in recent years. They demonstrate the artist’s diversified painting skills and his unique insights on life.
The artist showed up at the opening ceremony where he shared his ideas on art with the visitors and presented a painting to Suzhou Industrial Park Urban Art Space.
