Communities in SIP’s Jinji Lake Sub-district are doing their bit in maintaining and improving water environment.
On Jan 2, the “river chief” of Dushi Community joined hands with a community worker and a volunteer to patrol the Sanxing River and the river in a park. They found failure in the water supply system in the park and waste on the river bank near a construction site, and immediately required related parties to get rid of the problems.
Xi’an Community recently completed the renovation of the revetment of a river near the community. Under the project, weeds were removed, and turf block pavers were paved. The revetment now looks beautiful.
