The Dongsha Lake water conservancy scenic area in SIP was recently recognized a provincial-level water conservancy scenic spots by the Department of Water Resources of East China’s Jiangsu province.
Dongsha Lake is located in the middle part of SIP. The Dongsha Lake water conservancy scenic area boasts beautiful natural scenery, abundant natural resources and profound culture.
A park with Dongsha Lake as the core was opened in 2006. With plank paths, small bridges and unique scenes created by various species of plants, it highlights characteristics of the water culture in the region south of the Yangtze River.
