The SIPNC Lianhua Food Market and the SIPNC Yongwang Food Market in SIP’s Xietang Sub-district attracted a continuous stream of consumers as soon as they opened recently after a five-month renovation project.
The SIPNC Lianhua Food Market used to be called Lianhua Farm Produce Market which, with a total floor space of 1,812.34 square meters, came into operation in 2005, and the SIPNC Yongwang Food Market was called Yongwang Farm Produce Market which, with a total floor space of 1,632.59 square meters, came into operation in 2007.
The renovation was launched in August in the aim of eliminating safety pitfalls caused by aging facilities, upgrading the layout of booths and improving management.
The markets are now equipped with intelligent applications to give both the merchants and the customers a better experience. Now, data can be collected easily for daily management and customer flow management during peak hours.
