Orient Motion, a company founded in Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort in SIP last August, recently unveiled its latest achievements in R&D of electromechanical braking (EMB) systems, and hosted the ribbon-cutting ceremony for a smart factory after that.
The company has applied for about 30 patents and attracted investments of more than one billion yuan since its founding. Its EMB systems have passed the low-temperature tests of three top new energy vehicle makers in the country.
At the event, Orient Motion and Chery, a Chinese car company, jointly inaugurated a laboratory for innovation in intelligent chassis, and the company and Jiangsu University jointly inaugurated an industry-university-research cooperation base.
The company also signed agreements with two auto companies to launch strategic cooperation in mass production of EMB systems, and with several other companies to ensure the stability of the core supply chain for the industrialization of EMB systems.
Moreover, Orient Motion signed agreements with the investors in its Pre-A founding round.
