The Italy Meets China: Suzhou SIP Focus---Biomedical Session was held in SIP’s Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort on Sept 21 for the purpose of facilitating cooperation between Chinese and Italian biomedicine enterprises.
The event, organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), went on online and offline synchronously. Mr. Renzo Isler, secretary general of CICC, Ms. Alessandra Palumbo, commercial consul of Consultate General of Italy in Shanghai, and an official from SIP Investment Promotion Board addressed the event.
Moreover, Alessandra Gelera, Life Science Supply Chain coordinator of Assolombarda, gave an introduction to biotech parks in Italy, and Mr. Alberto Bortoli, managing director of Fresenius HemoCare Italia and coordinator of the Healthcare Value Chain of Confindustria Emilia Area Centro, gave an introduction to the Italian Biomedical District in Mirandola.
Officials from SIP gave the participants a specific introduction to SIP’s overall development and the local biomedical industry, and a number of Italian and SIP-based biomedicine enterprises exchanged opinions and experience.
