The Jinji Lake right bank renovation project is progressing fast. The workers are racing against the clock on the construction sites, with the tower cranes raising up their “long arms” high and vehicles running back and forth.
The curtain walls of the Mandarin Oriental hotel are being built. The hotel, with a land area of about 21,000 square meters and a total floor space of about 48,000 square meters, is set to come into operation in 2026.
The pile foundation support and earthwork in Area A of Suzhou Central Plaza have been completed. The project is also expected to open in 2026. With a land area of about 48,000 square meters and a total floor area of about 190,000 square meters, it will be home to many luxury brands and boutique retail stores.
The Suzhou Contemporary Art Museum, with a land area of about 48,800 square meters and a total floor area of about 59,500 square meters, is scheduled to start soft opening next year.
The underground structure of the Jinji Lake Right Bank Art Square has been roofed, and landscaping on the ground is underway. The whole project is anticipated to complete at the end of this year.
The Jinji Stations, consisting of three parts around Jinji Lake, will be completed this month, with service centers, cafes, restaurants and bars for tourists to spend their leisure time.
