The Discover SIP•Jinji Lake Land Art Tour, sponsored by SIP Culture, Sports and Tourism Office and organized by Jinji Lake Scenic Area Management Center, was launched on Apr 20 to encourage people to tour around Jinji Lake to discover the charm of the area.
SIP Culture, Sports and Tourism Office and SIP Xinhui Bus Co Ltd jointly launched a bus service concurrently to take citizens and tourists to 19 stops along a newly devised travel route on weekends and holidays.
Apart from that, travelers are encouraged to collect stamps from 30 most sought-after destinations and exchange them for coffee, souvenirs and coupons for spending at shopping spots and tourist destinations. The stamp collection campaign will last till the end of this year.
Colorful Particles, a public art installation created by Chinese artists Jiang Zhusong and Shi Wanwan, was unveiled.
About 40 “experiencers” enjoyed the first tour in the sightseeing buses after the launch ceremony.
