The fourth council of SIP Charity Federation (SIPCF) held its second meeting on Apr 7, deliberating the 2023 work report and financial report of SIPCF, sharing work experience and allocating tasks for future work.
The financial report shows that SIPCF last year raised a charity fund of RMB27.7154 million and gave out RMB21.9322 million under various programs to help 62,000 people. It carried out 126 charity projects to help the aged, the young, the handicapped and the needy.
At the event, a number of enterprises received awards from SIPCF for their kind donations, and several other organizations and communities received awards for their contributions to online donation activities.
The council of SIPCF made arrangements for future work, covering implementation of charity projects with local characteristics, integrated development of support programs of governments and charities, publicity campaigns aimed at enticing more people into charity work, etc.
