The first meeting of the Sino-Singaporean Joint Committee for Cooperation in Green Low-carbon Development was held in SIP on Mar 19. Wu Hong, deputy secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee and director of SIP Administrative Committee, and Adrian Ng See Woei, senior director of North East Asia Division in the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore, jointly presided over the meeting.

At the event, the Chinese side and the Singaporean side exchanged opinions on further cooperation in green low-carbon development. Based on that, the two parties decided to comprehensively deepen cooperation and exchanges in development of green industries, promoting cooperation between enterprises, training and other aspects.

Sungent Group, an SIP-based multi-business conglomerate, Keppel, a Singaporean asset manager and operator, and Surbana Jurong, a Singaporean consulting firm that offers integrated solutions for urban and infrastructure development, gave an introduction to the progress of a zero-carbon, intelligent industrial park to be set up in SIP.
