IP authorities held a meeting on Mar 22 to make deployment for the building of a healthy district following the guidance of the government of Jiangsu province for building healthy counties and districts.
SIP aims to establish an integrated working mechanism to improve health-related policies, foster a health-supportive environment, promote the development of a healthy society, optimize health services, spread health culture and advocate health-promoting lifestyles.
At the meeting, the goals of future work were specified, and tasks allocated, covering food safety, smoking control, public sanitation, and publicity efforts for spread of healthy concepts.
