No. 132 [2022] Notice on Epidemic Prevention and Control of Suzhou
Between 00:00 and 24:00, May 17, Suzhou reported no local confirmed cases and two local asymptomatic cases (both in Kunshan; one detected during screening among key groups, the other during quarantine).
About the new asymptomatic cases:
Asymptomatic Case No. 1
Living in Xinyuanguoji Chengshihuayuan Residential Compound, Huaqiao Town, Kunshan. The case was detected during screening among key groups.
Asymptomatic Case No. 2
Family member of asymptomatic case No. 1; managing a company in Kunshan; living in Xinyuanguoji Chengshihuayuan Residential Compound, Huaqiao Town, Kunshan. The case was detected during quarantine.
Both the new asymptomatic cases have been transferred to designated medical facilities for quarantine and medical observation and are in stable condition.
We call on all citizens to continue taking self-imposed prevention measures, including wearing face masks, washing hands frequently, ventilating and disinfecting more often and maintaining social distance, and cooperate in various epidemic prevention and control efforts.
