Between 00:00 and 24:00, May 8, Suzhou reported no local confirmed cases and one asymptomatic case (detected during quarantine in Kunshan).
About the new asymptomatic case:
Asymptomatic Case No. 1
Living in Jiantong Jiayuan Residential Compound, Penglang Town, Kunshan Development Zone; detected during quarantine. The case has been transferred to a designated medical facility for quarantine and medical observation and is in stable condition.
We call on all citizens to continue taking self-imposed prevention measures, including wearing face masks, washing hands frequently, ventilating and disinfecting more often and maintaining social distance, and actively cooperate in various epidemic control efforts.
