Over 30 Chinese and foreign students from the China-France School at Renmin University of China (RUC) Suzhou Campus and other universities and colleges in Suzhou Dushu Lake Sci-Edu Innovation District in SIP gained a better understanding of traditional Chinese handicrafts and culture in the event held at SIP Institute of Vocational Technology on Apr 10.
In the event, the students learned to make traditional Chinese incense and color white T-shirts with the tie-dye technique which has a long history in China and is on the list of national intangible cultural heritage.
