The 25th SIP Primary and Middle School Students’ Track Meet opened at Dongshahu Primary School on Apr 12, with about 900 students from 48 schools competing in the track and field races over the following two days.
The opening ceremony with fencing, martial art and other sports-related performances demonstrated the achievements that SIP-based primary and middle schools had made in developing distinctive physical education programs to help their students achieve all-around development.
Statistics show that, in 2023, 129 pupils and middle school students in SIP ranked among the top 8 in provincial-level events of athletics, swimming, football, basketball and volleyball, aerobics and fencing, and eight track and field records in the area were broken.
