Liu Qiang, a member of CPC SIP Working Committee and deputy director of SIP Administrative Committee, and his contingent visited BeiGene (Suzhou), the facility of Beijing-headquartered biotech company BeiGene Ltd in SIP, on Feb 21, aiming to learn about the company’s conditions and needs for help from local authorities.
Liu and the representatives from SIP Market Supervision Bureau and Drug Administration Center visited the company’s exhibition hall and workshops, and listened to its executives’ introductions to its development trajectory, products and R&D. They inquired of the latter about the company’s safety management measures, and gave high praise to the achievements it has made in recent years.
In the later meeting, Liu asked about challenges that the company was faced with, and discussed about solutions with its executives. He said SIP authorities would further improve local business environment to give biomedicine companies stronger support.
