The 3rd Session of the 17th Suzhou People’s Congress opened on Jan 16, bringing together deputies from all walks of life. An SIP delegation, led by Shen Mi, secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, and Wu Hong, director of SIP Administrative Committee, participated in the event.
“I feel proud of the achievements we made over the past year, and is confident about the development this year,” said Liu Chengwei, secretary of the CPC committee, chairman of the board and president of ORIZA Holdings, a state-owned investment organization in SIP.
Other deputies from SIP included Lou Sheng, founding CEO of Inno Light Science & Technology Co Ltd, Jin Jian, a professor at the Department of Materials and Chemistry of Soochow University, Prof. Zhang Peizhuo, chairman of Suzhou GenePharma Co Ltd, and Liu Zhong, director and executive deputy general manager of UIT (Suzhou) Design Co Ltd.
