SIP authorities released the SIP Social Insurance and Housing Fund Development Report (1995-2020) on Aug 18. The report, in both Chinese and English, gives a holistic picture of SIP’s efforts and achievements in building the local social security system since its inception 25 years ago.
It is learnt that SIP has thus far set up a multi-level social security system covering both urban and rural residents.
According to SIP Social Insurance and Housing Fund Management Center, its all-around, 24-hour social insurance and housing fund services have benefited more than 1.2 million people across SIP.
