Jinji Lake CBD in SIP recently convened a meeting on construction noise management at a local construction site, aiming to strengthen noise pollution control and ensure a good environment for the upcoming national college and high school entrance exams.
The representatives from SIP Environmental Law Enforcement Brigade and the Emergency Response and Environmental Law Enforcement Brigade of Jinji Lake CBD, and over 20 people from 14 ongoing construction projects attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the representative from the Emergency Response and Environmental Law Enforcement Brigade of Jinji Lake CBD explained in detail a set of laws and regulations on construction noise pollution prevention and control to the participants, urging project developers and contractors to implement effective noise reduction measures.
The representative from SIP Environmental Law Enforcement Brigade explained the review and approval process for nighttime construction to the participants.
Moreover, it was announced that, as in previous years, nighttime construction approval will be suspended from May 23 to June 19 in order to minimize disturbances for students who will participate in the annual national college and high school entrance exams.
