Su-Pay, which was initially created to allow Japanese and South Korean tourists to open an e-account for payment during their short stay in Suzhou, was recently upgraded to provide more convenience for users.
The Su-Pay 2.0 serves not only people from Japan and the Republic of Korea, but also those from other foreign countries and those from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan of China who intend to stay for a short time in Suzhou.
There is no need to download an app. Users can scan the QR code below to open an account and top up with any of a variety of bank cards or Chinese mobile payment apps for payment during their stay.
The Su-Pay 2.0 can be used in most stores in Jiangsu and Shanghai and nationwide life service outlets under business chains on a white list.
A campaign is underway to recruit trial users who are encouraged to offer suggestions for improvement of the online payment system.
