The CPC Committee for Peninsula Cultural Tourism Industry Chain in Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort held its second joint conference recently, aiming to promote integrated development of culture, sports and tourism in the resort. The representatives from the CPC working committee, administrative committee and market regulator of the resort, SIP Public Cultural Center and enterprises engaged in related sectors participated.
The CPC Committee for Peninsula Cultural Tourism Industry Chain was established last year for the purpose of strengthening the organization system for the development of cultural tourism in the resort. It is composed of 15 member units with over 160 CPC members.
During the event, the representative from Suzhou Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourism Development Co Ltd gave the participants an introduction to the unique resources of Yangcheng Lake Peninsula and plans for better utilization of these resources, and the representative from the local market regulation authority gave a talk on food safety. The participants shared experience in managing and utilizing cultural, sports and tourism resources, and brainstormed ideas for further improvement of the industry chain.
In addition, 15 organizations within the local cultural tourism industry chain were declared “honesty and diligence supervisors”.
