“We went through the whole administrative recordation process for the launch of a small renovation project only by submitting the electronic versions of several documents. It is very simple,” said an executive from Hitachi Astemo Automotive Systems (Suzhou) Ltd in SIP High-end Manufacturing and International Trade Zone (SIP-HMITZ). Compared with manual handling in offices, the online service allows the company to save time by 50%.
It is learnt that SIP added a module onto the local one-stop administrative service system (https://one.sipac.gov.cn/) in September for online pre-construction recordation of small construction projects which cover a total floor area of less than 300 square meters or cost less than RMB 300,000. Through the new module, enterprises can finish the whole recordation process within two or three days.
SIP-HMITZ is the first functional zone in SIP to pilot this online service. So far, about 30 enterprises have finished recordation for 20-plus projects.
