A total of 1,418 people in 66 teams competed in the event. Of them, 51 teams competed in the 22-people, 12-men and 12-women 300-meter straightaway races in the open group and the 12-men 300-meter straightaway race in the enterprises and public institutions’ group, and 15 teams competed in the 12-people 300-meter straightaway race and 22-youngster 300-meter straightaway race in the invitational contest.

Seven teams of expatriates from 15 countries and regions partook in the event. As this year marks the 30th anniversary of SIP’s inception under China-Singapore cooperation, a Singaporean team was invited. And an Austria team participated in the event under a cultural exchange program.
