The 13th Suzhou Jinji Lake Half Marathon held in SIP on Mar 10 was a great success which should be attributed to the collaboration of multiple parties.
The local traffic police carried out efficient traffic control and released real-time information about traffic through radio broadcasting and community service platforms to ensure smooth traffic around the venue of the event.
Over 150 special policemen patrolled the venue with vehicles and drones to guarantee safety.
The medics from The Fourth Hospital Affiliated to Soochow University and Suzhou (SIP) Kowloon Hospital stood by on site from early morning to ensure the quickest response to any emergencies.
The sanitation workers and urban management officers did a good job in maintaining a good environment for the event.
Besides, the volunteers wearing red vest provided great support to the event.
