The local authorities are sparing no efforts to support the operations of the commercial buildings and the enterprises in them, offering directions for epidemic prevention and introducing preferential policies to help them get through the tough time.
The operators of the commercial buildings have enlarged input in the fight against the epidemic. For example, many of the buildings are now equipped with thermal imaging temperature measurement devices that can rapidly detect suspected cases among crowd.
The enterprises in the buildings are doing their bit in containing the virus. They are running with proper preventive measures and trying hard to maintain and even improve their productivity amid the outbreak.
Moreover, the enterprises are helping each other. Sungent Group, the developer and operator of many real estate projects in the CBD and other parts of SIP, are implementing rent exemption and reduction in order to help small- and medium-sized enterprises ease financial burden. SWT, a real estate agency in the area, live-streamed a seminar on Feb 28 to help commercial building operators know better about enterprises’ needs during the epidemic.
