2018 AIIA AIDC kicks off in SIP

The two-day 2018 AIIA Artificial Intelligence Developer Conference kicked off in SIP on Oct 15. It consists of over 10 forums and four public lectures for more than 70 experts and scholars to share their expertise on AI with other participants, and the 2019 "AIIA Cup" AI Tour, an AI technology competition designed to discover promising projects in the field.

The event, sponsored by Artificial Intelligence Industrial Alliance (AIIA), is aimed at facilitating exchanges between AI professionals and expanding application of AI technologies in different industrial fields.

On the opening day, Zheng Nanning, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering and executive vice president of AIIA, gave a talk on "Intuition in AI and Self-driving Vehicles".

The public lectures cover a list of hot topics concerning world-leading AI technologies, and incorporate discussion sessions for the participants to exchange opinions.
