SFTU officials visit SIP enterprise for a survey

Zhang Yongzhong, head of Publicity and Education Department of Suzhou Federation of Trade Unions (SFTU), and his colleagues visited Nitto Denko (Suzhou) Co Ltd in Dongshahu sub-district, SIP, on Dec 11 for a survey on the development of "Staff’s Reading Station".

Lu Xiufang, chairwoman of the company's trade union, gave the visitors an introduction to their services and programs for the company's employees. After that, the visitors went around the 200-m2 "Staff's Reading Station", which, funded and operated by the trade union, boasts more than 3,000 books, newspapers, periodicals, audio and video recordings as well as computers for free internet access.

The visitors gave high praise to the "Staff's Reading Station" for its role in developing reading habit among the employees as well as offered advice for its further development.
