Established in August 2015, Xietang Sub-district Chaihuo (Faggot) Volunteer League is a volunteer team focusing on public welfare for women and children, led by Xietang Sub-district Women Working Committee. The league currently has 2 corporate members, 30 individual members and 20 volunteers.
Since its establishment, the League has provided support to quite a few people already. In the beginning of September the league raised money for 20 needy students of migrant workers in Chefang Experimental Primary School, and also gave stationery to 20 needy students in Xietang.
It is reported that the League also has plans for helping the peasant women to obtain employment or to start business, and organizing contests for children to enrich their life after school.
