The 2020 Chinese Super League (CSL), the country’s top football league organized by Chinese Football Association (CFA), kicked off on July 25 concurrently at Dalian, a city in Northeast China’s Liaoning province, and Suzhou, a city in East China’s Jiangsu province. The opener of the Suzhou leg took place at SIP’s Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre (SZOSC) where Wuhan Zall beat Qingdao HuangHai with a 2:0 victory.

It is learnt that the first phase of the new CSL season will last from July 25 to Sept 28, with 14 rounds each including eight games, and SZOSC is scheduled to host 18 of them.

It is noteworthy that all the games will go on without audience on site as a precaution against the contagious coronavirus disease COVID-19. However, football fans can watch the games through live streams, and SZOSC is planning a night bazaar with anti-epidemic measures to allow local residents to watch the games on outdoor screens while enjoying delicious food.
