An exhibition of calligraphy works in cursive script opened in Jinji Lake Art Museum, SIP on Dec 30, 2023, and will last till Feb 18, 2024. The works come from 75 Chinese calligraphers who are proficient in cursive script, a kind of rapid handwriting in which strokes are cursively connected.

The exhibits feature Chinese characters written in different styles. A number of academic papers by the calligraphers are also on display to show the theoretical basis for the works.

At the opening ceremony, five calligraphers presented works to Jinji Lake Art Museum.

A seminar was held to provide the participating scholars and calligraphers an opportunity to share their research outcomes concerning ancient handwriting in cursive script as well as their opinions on present development of cursive script.
